happy birthday...well sort of

 

 

 

 

the past four months plus have been really LOW for us here with me being so ill with pregnancy and the flu now affecting each family memeber. each of us have had a truly sh*** birthday. march 21st was tulsi and she was a whimpering mess who did not want to leave me or jons lap most of the day. i thought by keeping the plan to have a few of tulsi's favorite people over would brighten her birthday plus she LOVES b-day cake with candles. she talks at length and sings about the birthdays. when the 4 guests came and tusli was still moaning i felt like the worst mother making my kid celebrate and have friends over when she was sick. but then natalya gave tulsi a sesame street coloring book with bert and ernie (her current obsession) and she lite up and jumped of my lap. from then she was happy and even ate a very small amount of b-day cake, but she wouldnt blow out the candles (a good sign of being sick, cause she loves to blow out any candle).
i did not get any pics or video of when everyone was over, but angela stayed later to play and she made tulsi's b-day. yeah angela and THANK YOU. anegla brought a basket and you can see what happened to some of the content by looking at the photos.

we went down the street from donna's house and fed the ducks and went on some play equipment.

tulsi still feels jealous when me or jon are holding another babe. tulsi keep telling jon she wanted to snuggle as he was holding baby kara. tulsi got up and then hugged kara. it was dear. she is a snuggler.

funny that i desire to be a kid photographer cause it is really hard to get group pics of kids! i sure need practice to figure out the magic of how they get kids to all sit together for a couple of brief seconds and possible get them to look at you. tough job! well...for documentation here are the cassidy side cousins. it was really fun having them all together. i wish it could of been LONGER!!!

around 20 weeks

 

 

 

so funny to me to see these photos cause i feel so big already. if i am standing for awhile i can really feel the weight of my belly, but when i look at these pictures it looks like i barely have one. but really i do, and i like it. this babe is a real kicker. seems to move and groove a lot, which makes me feel good. we reached our 20 week mark and really things are better except now our house is plagued with the flu. first jon, then tulsi and today is my first day :(
we can not wait for a real spring here, when it is warm and sunny. i have spotted a few brave robins and sweet enough tulsi can recgonize them! she is AMAZING with speech. full sentence after full sentence and for the most part it is so clear and dear. we look forward to spending hours outside...ohhhhhhhhhhhhh when will the time come!!!

hair cut

 

 

 

one of the first things i knew i wanted to do when i felt better was to get a hair cut; and today i did. it feels good. i took these pics myself so they are not good. i will have jon take a picture this weekend with the belly included. it looks just like the last time, which is like i have a small beach ball in my shirt. jon is slowly getting over the flu and at the moment i am the healthiest one in the house!
from my last prenatal visit i actually gained 9 lbs!!!! funny cause my main diet is organic valley chocolate milk. REALLY! this baby is going to 90% chocolate milk! hmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy and sweet.
we are off to philly this weekend and will post pics when we get back.
