winter ski

 

 

 

 

we are still in winter land here. today we are getting lots of snow and it looks great! we did not go out today because yesterday we went skiing and jon carried tulsi as seen in the pictures and today he is sore. we went down the sound of music hill at the end jon fell. oppps. tulsi was telling jon that he was going to fast and jon said "no dear we are fine"...and then they ate snow. tusli recovered and we went on. it was nice to finally get out. things are getting better.

well sorry for the bad photos. i did take some video that i hope to post.
last tuesday we went to the YMCA. they have a weekly program there where the kids run around on ramps and mats. they have slides, balls, and well in the corner is an old pool that most likely is not meant to be an attraction, but the kids liked it any way. the only bad thing was that tulsi, myself, oona, liam, cathy and soren all caught a virus. so even though things are getting better we had a good set back with the cold. oh well, we had not gotten a cold all winter.

tulsi slept in her own bed

 

jon made tulsi this bed for tulsi about 4 months ago. she would jump on the bed and "play" sleeping, but never actually slept on it...until the other day. i was putting her to sleep for her afternoon nap and she asked to sleep in her bed. so the past 2 days that is where she has napped.

seems like tuesday is my day. i am 16 weeks and i need to get a pic of my belly. i LOVE that i have a belly. even if it is small i think it is cute. i have felt the baby for 2 weeks now. at first at 14 weeks it was so faint and then it increased to i feel lots of kicking. i LOVE it!!! it makes me not feel bad. i think the baby is trying to kick me out of my funk; which i need!!! what a sweetie!

yesterday i was feeling a bit better and wanted to see if i could put tulsi's hair in pig tails. i could, but barely. she is finally getting hair, but there is still not that much. i know one day she will have a full head of hair and we will know how easy we have it now.

well today i am 15 weeks and i am feeling better. NOT great, but better. so today i got tulsi dressed and took her out to play in puddles. this was the most self motovating activity i have done in 9 weeks. next i hope to do some laundry. jon is going back to work and i am soon to be doing more photography for HI. we are 6 months away from our due date. which FEELS far away but sounds so close!!! i am realizing that i only have less then 6 months to do more personal things like photography and other projects before i am a nursing mother around the clock and taking care of 2 babes!

the time that i was sick was only possitive in that i could do nothing and jon became the FULL FULL time care giver to tulsi. now as jon puts it he is the favorite parent and tulsi is constantly saying "papa can you get me ____ and papa play with me". it is so great to see how much they have bonded. jon did and is still doing a great job of taking care of me.
he certainly gets the "papa of the year" award.

jon, frank and tulsi went to the aquarium this weekend.
tulsi really liked running around more than looking at the fishes. there was lots of ramps and stairs for her. she was impressed by the hippo.

we took the drive to philly last weekend to FINALLY see donna's new baby KARA!!! wow she was sooooooooo sweet and little!
tulsi adored her and is still talking about her. tulsi really liked helping feed baby kara.
