baby bunnies
ahhhhhhhhhhh we are loving this spring!!! everything seems to be full of life and the smells of the flowers are intoxicating. last week we were at our herb garden where a nest of bunnies was found in the echinacha patch. the mama naturally only comes to the nest once a day to feed and stays away the rest of the time to keep predators away. the mother still has come back even though people from the garden have handled them.
tulsi had a hard time holding these bunnies, but she really really loved to watch them.
our little herb girl
tulsi is the name of a scared herb, holy basil. this girl blows me and jon away with all the strong herbs she eats. she consitantly asks for our varcho veda herbal extracts which i can barely swallow in which tulsi does not even flinch and usually ask for more. she will spend an hour chewing on ashwanganda root (again really pungent) and she even eats ginger root when she sees it.
this weekend we went away camping (amazingly i took NO PICTURES!). tulsi did not eat much so yesterday morning i was trying so hard to get her to eat. i made her pancakes and eggs. i offered her lots of other choices. barely anything she ate. we walk out our door and there is a chive patch and she takes a bunch and then goes and runs and picks dandylions for breakfast. lunch time was a similar snack of dandylions.
dandylions are edible, but try to eat one yourself...bitter.
ahhhhhhhhhhhh my little plant girl. i really really really need to finish our garden this week!
silloute belly
i thought of trying to get a sillouet picture of my belly down by the pond yesterday and it magically happend that we were all down there at sunset. you probably will see more of these cause these are our first concepts. i love it. jon did a great job!!! so i dont know what week i am but i know we are 2 months away from our due date; and due time is 3 weeks before and after, so although it still feels far away...it is not!!!
the baby in womb (jon likes to call kickie) is getting more and more strong. i can not believe the kicks this child does! a constant mover and sooooooooooo strong! i sometimes wonder if the baby will ever sleep cause he seems to be so active. the baby is also so in tune and aware. almost everytime i have really thought of the baby or jon has touched my belly the baby has responded in movement. which might not seem that incredible because i just stated that he moves all the time. anyways...i am currently convinced it is a boy because of how active he is. tulsi certainly moved in the belly but nothing like this.
we will sooon find out. we were convinced tulsi was a boy too. regardless this babe is ready to rock the planet. again we are due to have another fire sign baby. which leads our family to tulsi-aries me-sag baby-leo and lonely jon as pices.
