snow!

 

 

before tulsi even looked outside she knew there was SNOW!
we did not eat breakfast and well, i left annalee super unintended by leaving the house. and we all quickly went outside to play in the SNOW!
jon had just bought tulsi a small shovel to "help" him shovel the snow.

brothers

 

 

matthew and jason rule.
they spent the ENTIRE day outside playing in the snow. they are now 7 and 11 and the 2 brothers play so well together.
i think they had this snow ball fight for an hour. all before they even ate breakfast.

jon has many new duties at the institute and one of them is coordinating and managing the shoveling at all the numerous locations at the tute.
he wrongly took tulsi along who really slowed him down, but it was cute that he took her.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh following in her mama's footsteps, tulsi loves to shovel. she wanted to go back out and shovel and she did better the 2nd time. okay she was shoveling snow from the grass to the sidewalk...but she was doing a great job at it, so i did not stop her.

after the pond tulsi came across her little car that lauren gave her. not exactly the best thing in the snow, but she was determined to use it.
it was amusing watching her frustration.
two year olds do have logic i have seen it. but also they are oblivious to it. the other day her and amit were walking to the building for lunch and they KEPT stopping to eat snow with there bare hands, and KEPT complaining that their hands were cold.(to be a dork, amit was really the one doing this, but tulsi complained once)
nothing i could say would stop them from getting them to stop putting there hands in the snow.

tulsi loves to paint.
it usually starts with brushes and then goes to hand and then...the whole body.
then the bath. she loves the bath and can spend 30 minutes or more playing.
i think we are really lucky cause for the most part she really self entertains.

my friend dana tooks these. she is also into photography and just got a new camera and lens. fun!

we had a couple of hours when it was not too cold and we played outside with our friends.

me and jon took turns taking pictures of annalee. i really wanted to get a big smile picture.
annalee is just delightful.
tulsi is sweet but she is at times a handful but we feel really lucky with her. tulsi continues to want to be apart of annalee's world and interacts with her a lot.
i am not eager for annalee to get bigger but the 2 of them will have soooooooo much fun when she is old enough to play.
