summer nights

 

 

 

things have been good here. tulsi has been having a lot of fun with our neighbors. amit (our 2 year old neighbor) leaves his house frequently and knocks on our door. it is real cute until they start fighting, which might take an hour or not at all.
last night it felt like a great summer night. there was water gun fights, sand playing, ball throwing... near the end arjun accidentally fell face first in the kiddie pool. then the toddlers wanted in, so the would throw themselves in and then giggle hilariously. it was cute.
shutterfly has bought more of my pictures!!!! and i was asked to photograph 2 weddings. one is in 2 weeks!!! and it is an acquaintance of mine through the yoga plus magazine. the bride is a photographer & she likes my work. although i have never done a wedding...yikes!!! im only the 2nd shooter, but im still a bit nervous about it. plus i will be leaving annalee with jon. for at least 4 hours, with one nursing break in there. which sounds like nothing to you all, but for me...i cant even imagine. i only left tulsi at 6.5 months for a 1 hour yoga class. this is really cause my babes are such intense nursers. and annalee seems MORE intense than tulsi was...oh well
im really feeling like a photographer these days, which i like a lot.

well i actually dont like these pictures but i wanted to post to show her redness coming out. annalee's eyebrows have turned red and her hair has really lighten up. she looks like a little leprechaun to me.

nature walk

 

 

 

 

a few days ago we went on our 2nd nature walk with nathanial (jon calls him the happy hairy hippie). it was at a local park right down the road. we had a HUGE turn out and it was super enjoyable. tulsi did not listen much to the report of eddibles and it's properties but she had a blast running around with her friends.
annalee slept through it all safe and snuggled in the sling.

sunflower

 

 

 

 

when azure was here & we thought that labor was going to start, she went to the garden and got lots of flowers. this type of sunflower left such an impression on me & reminds me of annalee. so i have been trying to get a pic w/ her and the sunflower. as you see by the last picture it does not always work so happily.

farm run

 

 

we went to the farm to get some eggs and raw milk. we go on rotation & havent been in awhile. the family was so sweet and was so happy to meet annalee. we hung out talking for awhile and you can see one of the pigs got loose.

i dont know how many months tulsi and jon have been playing "amazing tulsi" but they are really getting good. soon we can join the circus!

yesterday we went for a walk and stopped and enjoyed the herb garden. the last picture is for uncle luke in africa. he planted these trees.

girl club

 

 

i went to yoga on monday really hoping to actually stretch. my body feels more sore now from awkward nursing positions and constant carrying then when annalee was still in my belly. but instead i had a girls club surround me during the class and annalee did not want to stop nursing the whole time...so no stretching.
tulsi adores the class, although the children do nothing but play so it really is not a class. but it is so wonderful to see her happily play with the other children (most of the time)and to hear so much giggling from the kids. most of us have been doing the class since the beginning which was 1.5 years ago, so the kids are really familiar with each other.
