baby steps

 

 

im trying, when i can, to learn more about photography.
tonight i was able to do 2 experiment.
the first i am most excited about...borders.

today

 

 

 

it seems like most of the pregnancy i have had an "every other day snydrome". which goes like one day okay/great the next day tired/grumpy. the main problem with this is tulsi seems be following. i dont know who creates to mood first.
yesterday was great and today sucked. i went to the garden to pick flowers hoping it would change both of our moods but no luck. we just had a hard day. jon took tusli grocery shopping to give me a break. i love him! he also got a hair cut as his dad would like...well it is not as short as his father would like.

great news is that azure and her one year old baby girl zephyer are flying tomorrow.
i am ready...and HOPING to have this baby soon after she comes.

peak a BOO belly

 

 

 

tulsi was in such a cheery mood that i convinced her to play peak a boo under my belly. it was a lot of fun. i might try this again if there is time.

the coolest thing that happened today is jon's dad bought us a nice video camera and it will be here tomorrow.
we are super excited to finally have decent quality video.
so i hope to post some video soon. dont worry we wont post the birth. i know too many of you are squeamish, although i dont think you could view a more beautiful thing than a birth.

wet head

 

 

 

 

it should not seem remarkable but it is for us. tulsi was playing with the hose and getting her hair wet.
she has been (let's hope) soooooooooooooooooo difficult with washing her hair or getting her head wet in anyway.
she even does not like it when me and jon take a shower. it has been a hard thing to deal with 1. the desire to wash her hair and 2. it is summer and there are sprinklers and summer rain storms.
but today she was LOVING it!!! even started to get a cup and put water on her head. the water is freezing well water. i was PLEASANTLY shocked. today has been pretty harmonious. she got up EARLY and by 8am i was wanting a nap, but i pushed through the day and we ended up having a really nice day.
i feel really heavy! i dont remember feeling so big with tulsi.

i took a few pics with the remote control today. just experimenting really. im glad tulsi played along.

today was a day of new things. i have wanted and encouraged tulsi to just look at books but she always wants us to read them. today when i was talking on the phone she picked up a book and sat in "papa's chair" and was reading out load.
usually when i am on the phone i struggle to have a half way decent/disjointed conversation.
is this a sign of growth???

we went to visit uncle slim and kushi in the herb garden. they had just harvested garlic and they gave some to tulsi. she liked it! then there was some fun play as displayed.

being sick is no fun, but falling asleep on papa is nice. this is a rarity for us.

the wedding

 

 

 

our friends crystal and zack got married yesterday. tulsi was able to attend for about 3 minutes then jon was gracious enough to take her and maxx into the woods to play. soon after the cermony tulsi got her fever again and the rest of the night was cuddling and soothing...well until it was time for sleep. then she was up a lot through the night so today i am exhausted! rrrrrrrrr oh well.
