9 weeks and counting

we are back from our chirstmas with my family in philly. tulsi got spoiled by both sets of grandparents and really enjoyed hanging out with my family. sorry, i took NO pictures!!! i am feeling pretty misrable, but we are all trying to hang in there. we are hoping that in 3 weeks things will be better when i hit 12 weeks. we can dream!!!
thank you all for your prayers and presents!!! hopefully i will take some pictures when amala and gemma come in a couple of days.

okay, maybe you think the first pick is gross, but it is the facts.
we were REALLY surprised!!! jon barely believed me but...we are pregnant and happy...welll????
i get really sick and i have a hard time eating. so i have basically taken to laying on the couch and running to the toilet. tulsi is doing fine with my state. she know pretends to take naps and is getting attached to her dolls and wants LOADS of snuggling.

the other day we went to for a walk with tulsi but it was a mix of snow and sleet and tulsi DOES NOT like it hitting her face. so jon sweetly carried her with an umbrella and in minutes she was asleep.
soooooooooooooooooo sweet. the doll was made by our good friend gudrun. tulsi calls the doll her little sister! so cute!

jon's dad was so excited when we told him that tulsi likes trains that the next day he sent this train. matthew and jason helped put it together. we actually up loaded a video to youtube.com.

the first picture was such a sweet moment. i said tulsi do you want to take a picture and she said "YEAH" and put her arm around me! it felt soooooooooooooooooo good!!!

tulsi is loving snuggling!!! she fits in perfect here! every since i have been nursing less she has been needing lots more cuddling so it has been a lot of fun. she is finally into all her stuffed animals and best of all, hugging her parents.

we love SNOW!!!
it is so nice to wake to snow! the children were out all morning sleding. although tulsi did go down a hill with matthew but did not like it. she does not like to walk in the snow because her boats must not be comfortable as well as they cake up snow on the bottom, which is a bummer for an over bunble babe trying to wadle down the way.

walking to the outside is now requiring some strong bundling. jon loves to cozy tulsi right into his jacket. we still love the sling for short trips.

it is so great being tulsi's mama.
she is sooooooooooo vocal and says the sweetest things. sometimes she will palm my face and smile and say hi mama over and over again. feels sooooooooooooooo good.
she says full sentenses ever day or almost with ever word.
